Hey Blooming Worlders,
EDIT: I’m so sorry for not writing a thing for such a long time, but somehow I had some trouble in scheduling. But below you read all about our second day in Paris (with a lot of pictures) and I hope you enjoy it!
As you’ve read in my previous post, we decided to spend a weekend in Paris and our second day was the longest and the heaviest day we could ever image. We visited soooooo many places and walked about 11 miles (17km) around the city, but it was totally worth it!
We got out of our apartment about 08.30 to have some croissants and coffee for a breakfast and start enjoying all the monuments we wanted to visit.
When we got to Paris Airport, we bought 2-Day Paris Museum Pass which gives you free access to over 60 museums and monuments, without waiting in the lines and possibility visit them as many times as you wish! Each Pass for 2 days costs 48€, but you have three options to choose from: 2 Days (48€), 4 Days (62€) or 6 Days (74€). It really saves you time and money, so if you ever decide to go to Paris, I totally recommend to buy these.
So, here’s what we did on Day 2:
Our first stop was Pont de l’Archevêché, because we couldn’t visit Paris without placing our love padlock on this bridge.
We walked around Notre-Dame Cathedral for some pictures and headed to “Crypte Archéologique du Parvis Notre-Dame”.
We visited the Conciergerie and Musée D’Orsay.
We visited Musée de L’Armée – Tombeau de Napoleon I and headed to the Eiffel Tower.
Then, we visited Arc de Triomphe and walked down through Les Champs Elysee, where we tasted the famous french macaroons from Maison Ladurêe and done some shopping.
We finished our night enjoying the luminous Louvre Pyramid.
So, as I said before, we walked so much on the day 2, but it was totally worth it. We saw so many beautiful things and places.
Stay tuned for the Day 3 and disastrous Day 4 in the next post!
